Billing for Walk-out visits

Summary:

When patients are triaged, vitals taken, and then walk out without being seen, we cannot discard the document.  It contains vital signs and other triage data.  Instead, do these two things:

1. Enter this Text Macro in HPI:  .walkout_hpi
   It expands to:  Patient left without being seen by a clinician. Vitals signs and any other data collected have been reviewed, but not addressed. Patient will be rescheduled if appropriate, or they can call the clinic to reschedule..

2. Go to the Sign-off screen and expand the Billing tab.  Enter the E&M code WALK and then click outside that field.  Click "Save and Mark Reviewed" as usual, and Close the visit.  This will remove the Encounter from your Inbox, and keep it off the report of unbilled visits.
