        Summary:

Most DME does not end up on the medication list.  You can view a past DME order by clicking Find, by Type, and expanding "Durable medical equipment".  You can't renew, but at least you can see exactly what it was and where it was sent, and copy the instructions to easily prescribe it again.

        Details:

DME (Durable Medical Equipment) is handled differently from Medications in athenaOne.  A few things, like glucometer supplies, will land on the med list when you prescribe them.  Most other DME, like wheelchairs, adult briefs, shower chairs and wound supplies, will not be there.  The DME scripts are Orders, but are not considered Prescriptions.

Go to Find (upper left of the patient chart screen), pick the "Type" tab, and you should see "Durable medical equipment" near the top:

Click "Durable medical equipment" to expand it, and you can click on an individual order to see it:

You can't renew DME, there is no Arrow icon to move it to the A&P.  But at least you can see exactly what it was and which DME supplier it was sent to.  You can also highlight and copy the instructions to prescribe again more easily.  For instance, in the screenshot above, you could copy the Sig field: "Use in bed and on chair..." - and paste it into the instructions for a new prescription.
