athenaOne EMR access and login from outside the USA

The athenaOne EMR is designed for use only from within the United States.  Follow the instructions below if you need EMR access while traveling abroad.   

Summary:

Log into Citrix as if launching our old EMR (Centricity).  Launch Chrome from there, and go to www.athenahealth.com.

Details:

1. Go to https://cps.glfhc.org
2. Click the monitor icon to launch "Centricity"
   
3. This should bring you to a login screen.  Use your Windows user name and password:
   
4. The big blue Citrix window appears.  Don't log into Centricity.  Instead:
   1. Click the Windows icon in the lower left 
      
      
   2. Type "chrome" in the search field, then click on Chrome to launch it: 
      
      
   3. Type www.athenahealth.com in the address field of Chrome
   4. When the athenahealth company website loads, click "Login" in the upper right
   5. Log in with your athena username and athena password (the one you use for prescribing controlled substances)
