How to completely delete an OB Episode opened in error

Background:

You should never delete an OB Episode unless you are absolutely certain that the patient is not pregnant, and that no pervious pregnancy is being tracked by an open OB Episode.

Just because a patient is not currently pregnant does not mean that the OB Episode was opened in error, it may simply have never been ended properly.

That said, if you see an open OB Episode on a patient who has not yet reached menarche, then this was likely created accidentally.

Basics:

To delete the OB Episode, you open the OB Worksheet, Click on the Worksheet Actions menu, select Delete OB Episode, and then click on Delete OB Episode.

The OB Worksheet should now be gone.
